$35,360+ Annually DOE


$17.00+ Hour DOE



Snelling Professional Services, East Tennessees #1, and oldest recruiting firm with over 50 years of professional recruitment experience is staffing CMA/RMA professionals for a large medical facility with a growing team! The CMA/RMA will update and maintain patient records while ensuring all patient needs are met. The CMA/RMA will work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with Lunch 12-1.

The CMA/RMA will be responsible for:


  • Ensuring referrals are within the guidelines of the patients insurance company specifications and requirements.
  • Scheduling patient appointments with specialists, per physician request
  • Verifying patient insurance coverage and follows the insurance company's policies for referral to specialist.
  • Confirming patient's eligibility to visit the facility.
  • Conveying referrals to patients, insurance company, specialists, and Primary Care Physicians
  • Updating and maintaining accurate EMR records
  • Performing blood draws according to protocol
  • Working with patents in a professional manor
  • Attaining records and faxes to specialists as needed
  • Advising nursing and MD staff of changes to insurance companies referral policies, as they occur
  • Assisting nurses with answering phone calls from physician offices and patients
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

The CMA/RMA will excel with:


  • High School diploma or GED. (Transcript Required)
  • Active Certified Medical Assistant License
  • Six (6) months of work experience in a medical office
  • Proficient in vitals, injections, EMR
  • Ready to assist with procedures, EKG's
  • Ability to adhere to insurance carrier's policies, procedures, and protocols regarding the referral of the patient to a specialist.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical vocabulary
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time.
