Job Description

Engineering with primary skills as a painter, a solid understanding of maintenance and repair tasks, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field is typically preferred. Additionally, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.


Job Overview:

  • Perform painting, staining, and drywall repair tasks.
  • Maintain and upkeep guestrooms, meeting spaces, and public areas including ceilings, walls, moldings, trim, baseboards, and doors.
  • Repair and maintain various hardware, plumbing, electrical, HVAC equipment, and cosmetic items.
  • Monitor fire alarm/life safety systems and respond during emergencies to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.
  • Clean, lubricate, protect, and maintain all hotel tools and equipment.
  • Work to create an accident-free and safe work environment, following established safety protocols.
  • Log activities and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Provide training and technical advice to other engineers as needed.

Education & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Previous experience with painting and maintenance preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
