Location: Montezuma, Iowa

At Sinclair Tractor, we pride ourselves on being the destination in Southeast Iowa for agricultural equipment, precision farming, agronomic decision support, NAPA parts and supplies. With thirteen John Deere dealerships, five NAPA parts locations and a Supply Store, we are looking for motivated and talented people to join our team.

Purpose:

Manages NAPA operations within the store location to provide the highest level of external and internal customer satisfaction, while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory control, and expense control. Provide leadership to the NAPA department, attract and retain outstanding talent, and effectively engage department personnel.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Daily service of customers in store, on the phone, or on site for deliveries
  • Daily freight check-in and reconciling
  • Daily update of Excel spreadsheet for Napa purchases
  • Daily balance and deposit of daily transactions
  • Complete scheduling for the week, bi-weekly, or monthly for store operating hours
  • Submission of paperwork to AP department for inventory received and posted
  • Non-Napa invoices verified, posted, and submitted to AP department
  • Counter Sales and EOD (End of Day) processes
  • Costing of every invoice for discovering high & low margins, to achieve most accurate numbers
  • EOM (End of Month) paperwork submitted to Operations Manager
  • Calling of aged accounts receivable customers to collect or complete needed collection paperwork, submit, and follow-up for collections
  • Core and defective parts processed to be returned to the warehouse
  • Create and submit daily restock and factory orders based off sales criteria
  • Review and verify monthly inventory adjustments
  • Run and update price labels as needed and monthly specials material
  • General upkeep of store appearance as well as shelving parts and displays
  • Complete monthly Napa online training on products and Napa Know How Tips
  • Complete the ASE certification program

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions
  • Thorough knowledge of parts inventory management principles
  • Interpersonal, Management and Leadership skills
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Passion for automotive industry

Working Conditions & Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift at least 75-pounds
  • Travel as needed
