Honda Parts Department

The Hinderer Motor Company is expanding! We are looking to hire a full-time highly motivated Automotive Parts Specialist for our John Hinderer Honda location. If you are looking for a family-operated environment with great career opportunity, we may be a great fit for you.

We are currently seeking Automotive Parts Specialists of all skill levels to help bolster our great team! We have a flexible work plan with a wide variety of hours and schedule options! The Hinderer Motor Company is a family-owned, smoke-free, drug-free and community-minded workplace.

Requirements

Automotive Parts Counter

• Deliver Parts to and from other dealerships and consumers
• Communicate with vendors on parts and service ETA’s
• Check and verify parts received
• Assist with parts invoice using complete shop procedures the day order arrives
• Scan all invoices and necessary documents into complete shop the day the order arrives
• Fill technician parts requests.
• Responsible for all vehicle sublet items (wheels, glass, bumpers, etc.)
• Review necessary supplement parts with tech
• Responsible for assisting with repair order documentation
• Responsible for keeping the parts office and parts shelves clean and organized at all times
• Assist Service Advisors, Technicians, by utilizing Rapid Recon
• Keep stock of fluids and make sure they are charged out on repair order accordingly
• Responsible for vendor discounts
• Responsible for appointing vendor shop
• Attend daily production meetings
• Available by cell phone or shop radio while working

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check inclusive of drug screening
• Must be able to satisfy I-9 requirements
