Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Housing Program Team Leader for our client. In this position, you will take on the vital responsibility of providing clinical leadership to the Housing Supports team. Your role will involve overseeing all assigned homeless programs, ensuring precise reporting of services to the HMIS system, and maintaining excellence in MAP homeless programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of leadership and independent judgment in the execution of duties.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a positive relationship with community partners, funding sources, coordinates closely with MAP HDC, LLC, property managers, and other supportive service agencies
  • Plans, implements, and supports supportive services program operation
  • Interviews, recommends, hires and evaluates program staff
  • Promotes development of staff, provides training as needed/when appropriate
  • Ensures all housing staff are trained in all relevant trainings including but not limited to Ethics, Housing First, Critical Time Intervention, Progressive Engagement, De-escalation and Motivational Interviewing
  • Provides weekly group and individual clinical supervision to staff. Facilitate team meetings and provide back-up support to team
  • Monitor job performance and progress of team members. Review and sign time and mileage sheets
  • Supervise up to four program interns and manage relationships with local universities
  • Make final decisions regarding admission, continuation, and termination of participant services as appropriate
  • Reviews all referrals and coordinates staff assignments, ensuring service coordination is provided to each assigned participant
  • Maintains an updated Sample clinical record
  • Create new participant clinical record (both electronic and hardcopy)
  • Act as MAP agency HMIS administrator
  • Review HMIS data quality reports with team, fixing data quality errors as necessary, and submitting quarterly data quality reports to HMIS System Administrator
  • Ensure timely reporting of annual and interim updates, case notes, and service transactions in HMIS
  • Offer clinical support to the Veterans Services Team
  • Supports on call staff
  • Represents the agency in community meetings; COC and WHA operated activities in planning and implementing community wide initiatives to end homelessness
  • Provide information for project or program evaluation reporting
  • Monitor budgets, supply requests, and petty cash requests

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in the mental health field, substance use disorder field, and homeless arena
  • 3 years of Supervisory experience
  • Valid Driver's License-Driving is an essential function
  • LMSW certification (preferred)

The ideal candidate for this position should possess experience in the mental health field, substance use disorder field, and homelessness arena. Supervisory experience is a prerequisite, and a valid driver's license is mandatory, as driving is deemed an essential function of the role. While the role is primarily based in an office setting, it also entails work outside the office, mainly when providing support to staff in backup situations.
