Job Description
COMPANY OVERVIEW: Provides a software tool for operations that immediately boosts the productivity of field operators in the industrial, heavy construction, energy, oil & gas industries worldwide.
POSITION TITLE: Industrial Sales
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary DOE + bonus
BENEFITS: Standard package
LOCATION: Alabama or Florida
SUMMARY: Looking for a top sales executive with an extensive rolodex with operations roles in refining, petrochemical and chemical plants.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personally contacting and setting up meetings with prospective customers.
- Setting up pilot projects with new customer sites.
- Closing customer project orders after successful pilot projects.
- Developing new profitable business relationships and maintaining them.
- Creating and managing sales strategies to maximize the market penetration and overall revenue growth of the US business.
- Developing and maintaining short, mid and long term sales objectives and associated strategies including Key Performance Indicators.
- Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of the sales efforts and, where necessary, make appropriate changes.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the downstream industrial market.
- A large network of operations contacts and peers in the downstream industrial market.
- A proven track record of success selling into the oil and gas downstream industrial market - especially at the plant manager, operations director, operations manager and operational excellence manager levels.
- A proven self-starter who is motivated by finding new business opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective selling and relationship skills with internal and external customers at all levels.
- The role will primarily focus on the region but the candidate must be able to travel throughout the company’s North American markets if needed.
