Position: Maintenance Lead

Location: EAM Mosca   Shift: Night Shift (Monday to Friday)

EAM-Mosca Corp., Hazle Township PA, a dynamic market leader in the area of end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking an Maintenance Lead to join their Extrusion Strapping Department.

Position Summary: As the Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the effective operation, repair, and maintenance of our plastic extrusion equipment. You will play a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, reducing downtime, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees during the night shift. Flexibility and availability for weekend work and being on call when needed are essential to meet our production demands. The ability to both follows directions with precision and make independent decisions is vital for success in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic extrusion machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule.
  • Implement and promote safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance activities based on production needs.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and work orders.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance team members.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the Maintenance Manager regarding equipment maintenance, team performance, and any issues or improvements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance and repair, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and coordinate maintenance efforts.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Availability to be on call and work flexible hours, including day shift, and weekends when needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow directions with precision and make independent decisions.
