Role Overview

First Community Church is looking for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of people through the capture of various worship experiences via media productions. The Sound Engineer will mix audio for Sunday morning services and run systems for special events in our multiple worship spaces. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 10-20 hours per week.

Key Duties and Experience

Our preferred candidate will be experienced in:

• mixing audio and running presentation software concurrently
• running analog and digital consoles (Allen and Heath and Yamaha Consoles)
• wireless microphone setup and operation
• the use of Sound Forge, Nuendo, Audition and Cubase software
• the use of ETC Lighting consoles
• the use of Zoom, Teams, and other meeting software
• the use of Adobe Premiere Software

Requirements

• ability to lift 50 pounds overhead.
• ability to climb stairs
• ability to pass a background check

Compensation

• commensurate with experience
