Physical Therapist- 50,000 Sign On Bonus + Relocation

Job Summary: 

The Physical Therapist selected for this position will be able to create a state of the art physical therapy program within our Lifestyle Center. The mission for this department is to focus on preventative and regenerative medicine to promote healthy aging and longevity. The Lifestyle Center and Physical Therapy program will be a marriage of advanced technology to include a DEXA scan, metabolic exercise testing, resting energy expenditure testing, hyperbaric treatments, stem cell research, and weight room just to name a few options.

We are looking for a physical therapist who's willing to take their department and the Lifestyle Center to the next level of excellence for our community and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

·Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.

·Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.

·Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.

·Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.

·Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote physical health.

·Use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients’ pain and provide stimulation to promote healing

·Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process

·Documenting patient care history.

Fundamental 5 Responsibilities

      ·Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice as        well as state standards

      ·Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility                                 documentation procedures

      · Assist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly and                    effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy

     ·Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in              these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainable

Requirements & Qualifications

·Graduate from an accredited university from the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program

·Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices

·Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level

·Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
