Mobile Service Technician & Advisor - Planet Ford Dallas

Planet Ford Dallas is looking for a Mobile Service Technician/Advisor that will be responsible for off-site service work performed from our state-of-the-art, brand new 2021 Transit 350 which includes all tools!

Technicians will examine vehicles to determine the nature and cause of the service or repair needed, perform the service or repair, and communicate with the customer. This can include: maintenance, visual inspection, and removal of parts and attachments. Installation with the help of proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

Mobile Service Technician/Advisor Responsibilities

• Commute via Mobile Service Van to customer’s home or work and perform service and repairs.
• Consult with customer on work to be performed such as
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection report
• Diagnosis and repair of vehicle
• Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
• This position will require certification from Ford Motor Company which Planet Ford Dallas will facilitate.
• This position will also require use of our DMS system , Reynolds and Reynolds. Planet Ford Dallas will provide training.

Mobile Service Technician/Advisor Qualifications

• Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
• Time management – managing one’s own time and time of others.
• Basic computer skills.
• Clean driving record
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
