Job Description
Providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
- Answering emergency call system
- Resident room visits
- Understand resident individual care plan
- Provide emergency care as needed
- Assist residents with activities of daily living. This would include, bathing, dressing, skin care, personal care, mouth/denture care, hair care/shampoo, incontinence care, personal hygiene, making beds and other daily task as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with taking care of the elderly.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
Posses written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak and write in English. (Sufficient to serve the job duties).
Enthusiastic, well organized with exceptional listening skills and compassion for the elderly.
Demonstrate a professional demeanor, teamwork and leadership skills.
Knowledge of and experience with the laws, rules and regulations relating to Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly. (RCFE)
This position requires customer service and & hospitality skills, multitasking, flexibility to cover shifts and weekend availability.
