DataED (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Assembler to join our team! The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for installing components into printed circuit boards using either Aegis or Factory Logix as a guide. Use of hand tools, such as screwdrivers and drills may be necessary to complete this task.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:

  • Building boards following a layout
  • Assemble hardware and mechanical parts
  • Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts
  • Complies with and follows all processes and procedures within the company policy.

Qualifications of the Mechanical Assembler:

  • High School diploma/ or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of component identification
  • 1-2 years PCB assembly experience
  • Component identification and verification
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions both verbal and written
  • Hand tool knowledge.
