Job Title: Child Care Systems Analyst - Wonderland Children's Academy

Overview: As a Child Care Systems Analyst, this role will be vital in optimizing our operational efficiency through the effective use of technology. In this role, you will be working directly with the owner.  You will be responsible for implementing and streamlining our processes in addition to managing our food program and EAV Child Care Certification Programs particularly utilizing Excel and Microsoft applications, to streamline processes and improve overall performance. Your analytical skills will be key in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance the quality of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Systems Management:

    • Oversee the management and maintenance of all software systems utilized within the child care center, including but not limited to Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and any specialized childcare management software.
    • Ensure all systems are up-to-date, properly configured, and functioning efficiently to support daily operations.
  2. Support-Staff Lunch Breaks
    • Support and Provide Breaks For Staff each day during Lunch and Snack Breaks. 
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Utilize Excel to analyze data related to childcare attendance, staff scheduling, financial transactions, and other relevant metrics.
    • Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to provide insights into operational performance and support decision-making processes for management.
  4. Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process improvement within the child care center's operations through data analysis and feedback from staff.
    • Collaborate with management and staff to develop and implement solutions aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the quality of care provided to children.
  5. Training and Support:

    • Provide training and ongoing support to staff members on the effective use of technology systems, including Excel and Microsoft applications.
    • Serve as a resource for troubleshooting technical issues and assisting staff with utilizing software tools to improve their workflow.
  6. Compliance and Security:

    • Ensure that all technology systems and data management practices adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines, particularly those related to child privacy and confidentiality.
    • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access to digital resources.

Qualifications:

Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, with data analysis and reporting proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in process improvement and project management, preferably in a childcare or education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices is a plus.
