Registered Nurse - Private Duty

We are hiring at Communities of Care for a Private Duty Nurse (LPN/RN) for a client that is in need of a passionate and skilled individual to care for a pediatric male client. \nClient information:\n- 3-year-old male\n- Age appropriate and verbal\n- Hypotonia, congenital anomaly\n- Incomplete C1/C3 spinal injury\n- GT, Trach/vent (Trying to wean)\n\nResponsibilities:\n Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and/or disabled patients\n- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans\n- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms and/or behaviors.\n- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention\nRequired Skills:\n- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities\n- Maintain accurate patient medical records.\n- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.\nPreferred Skills:\n- Familiarity with medical software and equipment\n- Ability to build rapport with patients and their family members.\n- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills\n- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment\n- EEO/AA
