This Die Cutter Position Features:

• Great Pay to $45K

Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing precision die-cutting, laser-cutting, embossing,
lamination, and other fabrication department duties to meet customer
specifications/drawings.
• Ensure that documentation is completed, and procedures are followed.
• Demonstrate safe work practices.
• Demonstrate quality workmanship and ownership of the process.
• Work independently to the production schedule with little or no supervision.
• Provide training and follow-up of other employees as needed and required
within the Fabrication Department. Trained in safe equipment operation and
understand and interpretation of customer drawings and use of measuring
devices as required.
• Plan and execute production planning activities to ensure material is prepared in
advance for production orders.
• Provide maximum possible accuracy and precision on all die-cut, laser-cut and
embossing jobs to customer blueprints/specifications. Must be proficient in
reading calipers and other measuring devices as required.
• Continuously work to reduce set-up time and improving workflow and
throughput.
• Maintain a clean work area and keep management aware of any safety or
equipment failures or repairs needed.
• Maintain equipment and tooling as required and help expedite production to
meet customer deadlines.
• Initiate actions to reduce overall bottom-line costs within the fabrication
department.
o Training described as the following:
? Safety and good housekeeping.
? Reading and understanding of measuring devices and customer
drawings.
? Proper handling of material to ensuring no damage.
? Minimize scrap during set-up.
? Perform routine equipment maintenance.
o Maintenance is defined as the following:
? Proper oil levels maintained.
? Replacing worn screws.
? Notifying management of damaged or repairs required.
Support and participate as a team player supporting other departments and
provide input on problem solving.
• Other duties as needed or required.
Job Experience
• Must have a minimum of 8 years direct industry experience or similar relevant
work history.
• Teamwork and continuous improvement skills are required.
• Must be proficient with reading required measuring devices, i.e., calipers,
customer drawings/specifications and able and be willing to train others.
