Job Description
Clinical Laboratory Assistant
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to fill an opening with a prestigious healthcare organization in Sarasota, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for Clinical Laboratory Assistant:
- Responsible for laboratory testing, quality control, specimen processing, following laboratory assay instructions, phlebotomy, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assess research laboratory kits supply requirements for clinical trials
- Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Required Qualifications for Clinical Laboratory Assistant:
- 2+ years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
- Must be proficient with computer software programs including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) programs
Preferred Qualifications for Clinical Laboratory Assistant:
- Experience in a laboratory setting highly preferred
- Basic Life Support (CPR) is preferred
