Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
  • 3 years of Utilities / Facilities Engineering Experience within a Manufacturing setting
    • Prior experience Establishing and managing annual maintenance / repair plan and budget.
  • Ability to oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems paired with the ability to optimize equipment programs and troubleshoot issues to identify root cause
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Gas boiler, NMP-related certification preferred.

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is currently seeking a Facilities / Utilities Engineer for a direct hire opportunity supporting the creation of the brand-new manufacturing plant in Glendale, KY. This individual will support a growing engineering department focused on improving facility efficiency and supporting plant expansion. It can be expected that 80% of the time this engineer will be out in the plant interacting with engineers, technicians, tradesmen, and operators to understand project needs. This individual has an opportunity to establish and manage annual maintenance / repair plan and budget for two massive battery manufacturing plants. Ideally, we are looking for an organized, self-driven problem solver to join the organization to support the production lines, ensuring all methodologies are safe, effective, and efficient. This engineer will optimize current production processes, assist plant in addressing equipment downtime issues, oversee PM programs for battery manufacturing equipment, and support new model equipment launch.
