6 Month C2H 

Second Shift - 2PM - 10PM CST

Must Haves:

  • 2-10 years of related experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience machining the Alum, Stainless Steel, Steel, and Inconel or Titanium
  • Experience running CNC lathes, CNC Mills, Fadal, HAAS, Mazaks, or Okuma (machines)

 

Plusses:

  • Technical or Military School Training

 

Day to Day:

A client in Huntsville, AL is seeking several CNC Machinist who will be responsible for producing replacement metal parts, shaping new parts, and operating standard machine tools.

 

Other job responsibilities:

  • Producing replacement parts and new parts in making repairs of metal parts of mechanical equipment
  • Interpreting written instructions and specifications
  • Planning and laying out of work
  • Using a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Setting up and operating standard machine tools
  • Shaping of metal parts to close tolerances
  • Making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds of machining
  • Selecting standard materials, parts, and equipment required for this work and fitting/assembling parts into mechanical equipment
