Robert Half is seeking a Credit Coordinator to become an integral part of our client's team to work closely with both the Sales and Finance departments to enhance and support collection efforts. If you are someone with experience in credit procedures and outstanding ability to review outstanding balances and engage in both teamwork and independent efforts to collect funds, this job might be for you. This is a contract/ contract to hire position located in Carmel, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adherence to all billing and collection procedures. - Reconciling outstanding account balances and preparing weekly reports on accounts receivables and past due status, with clear notes on customers’ accounts. - Assessing and resolving customer queries and issues related to their accounts. - Approving order releases for credit accounts on hold. - Sending past due notices via email or mail.- Proficiency in MS Excel. - Fluency in the English language (Reading, Writing and Communicating) - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and sales team. - Superior organizational and multi-tasking abilities. - Excellent analytical skills along with a good problem-solving attitude. - Prior experience working with credit accounts, following organization guidelines.
