Position Overview:

We seek a dynamic and experienced Grants Manager/ADRC Supervisor to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be crucial in securing funding, ensuring compliance, and supporting our mission to serve the aging population. In addition to the responsibilities listed below, you will coordinate the planning for the annual Art of Aging, The Fearless Caregiver Conference, and TEARS. You will be responsible for fundraising to support these events, marketing them, and assisting with pre-registration and participation in registration and logistics

Responsibilities:

As the Grants Manager/ADRC Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Grant Management:

    • Oversee the entire grant application process, from submission to reporting.
    • Manage the allocation of funds, ensuring efficient utilization.
    • Ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulations.
  2. Team Supervision:

    • Lead and supervise a team of data clerks, clerical support staff, and office clerical volunteers.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  3. Strategic Planning:

    • Prepare the annual Title III Request for Proposals (RFP).
    • Collaborate with grantees to modify applications as needed.
    • Preview grant applications in preparation for the Allocation Committee review.
  4. Committee Support:

    • Track the progress of the Allocation Committee in determining eligibility qualifications for community agency applications.
    • Create flowcharts of applicants for the Allocations Committee.
    • Conduct bi-annual technical training for new and returning grantees.
  5. Performance Evaluation:

    • Conduct site reviews of all grantees bi-annually.
    • Supervise data collection and reporting for Title III grantees.
    • Serve as a liaison between grantees and AOASCC to address any issues.
  6. Financial Management:

    • Collaborate with the finance grant manager to facilitate the monthly billing/payment process to grantees.
    • Gather social service reports from grantees twice per year.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in grant management and administration.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and management abilities.
  • Communication: Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for serving older adults and making a positive impact.
