Architect Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000 (based on experience & credentials)

8-hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday; 8am – 5pm

Location: Birmingham and Metro Detroit Area

 

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Residential Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your innovative design skills and passion for residential architecture. You will collaborate with clients to create functional, aesthetically pleasing living spaces that meet their unique needs and desires. Architect Education and Experience:

·         5-10 years of experience in high-end residential remodeling at all phases of design and construction.

·         Knowledge of AutoCAD, Chief Architect, or other BIM programs.

·         Knowledge of Michigan’s residential building codes.

·         Bachelor’s or higher in Architecture

·         Licensed Architect a plus.

Architect Physical Requirements: 

·         Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.

·         Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·         Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. 

What You’ll Do:

·         Source and recommend materials that balance aesthetics and functionality.

·         Use BIM drawing software to create detailed designs of high-end residential homes’ interiors, exteriors, and additions.

·         Stay up to date on building codes and regulations to determine how they will affect architectural designs.

·         Organize structural, electrical, and mechanical designs.

·         Draw plans for homes based on instructions provided by the Sales & Design Consultant.

·         Visit job sites to gather data needed to complete designs.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.
