Staff Accountant

Our recruiting firm is partnering with a construction company in Fort Lauderdale, to find them a Staff Accountant to support them as they take on a system conversion. This position is a temporary role, but could convert into a permanent role depending on the work load.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily and monthly journal entries for prepaid expenses and AP/AR
• Maintain fixed assets and accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations and review of financial statements
• Support month-end, year-end close and audit process

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounting experience
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot) required
• Experience with ERP
• Commute comfortably to office in Fort Lauderdale
