Description:

Tempus Unlimited is looking for a per Diem Bilingual Spanish speaking in-person Technical Training Moderator that is proficient and experienced with technology, such as smart phones, Zoom and customer management systems. A person in this position will help with technical support in both in person and virtual trainings and information sessions. The Moderator should be comfortable supporting various populations, including elderly and people with disabilities with setting up and navigating an online account and installing a mobile app.


The trainings will be in 2-hour increments between the hours of 9am and 8pm, Monday through Friday, both in person within Massachusetts, as well as virtual for maximum of 35hrs a week. This is a two-year project, between 2023 and 2025.

Bilingual Spanish fluency writing and speaking is required.


In Person Essential Functions

  • Set up and test in person training equipment for live events and perform technology checks
  • Take attendance and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Provide technical support as needed to attendees with setting up online account and installing a mobile app
  • Provide training attestation forms to selected attendees, and launch post-training assessment upon completion of the session
  • Keeping training attendance and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Traveling within Massachusetts is required

Virtual Essential Functions

  • Create and test Zoom meeting links for live events
  • Support Zoom chat during virtual trainings and support attendees with technical issues
  • Performs other related duties as needed


Requirements:

Competencies

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common issues and assist presenters and participants in working through technical challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Ability to manage stress and perform under pressure
  • Demonstrates clear understanding of key communications skills: active listening, clear articulation, confidence and empathy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working in a collaborative environment. Follows directions with ease. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization

Required Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience executing and managing live virtual events for corporate audiences
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Bilingual Spanish fluency in reading and speaking may be required.


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment as well as off-site training facilities. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and scanners.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers and also must be able to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.


Travel

Travel is required for this position within Massachusetts for in-person moderators.
