Special Education Teacher (Elementary) - Multiple Openings

Duration:Immediate Start for Current School Year, Continuation for Next School Year
Grade Levels: PreK - 3rd Grades
Student Ratio: 6-8 students per teacher
Position Type:Full-time
Weekly Pay:$34/HR

We are currently seeking two passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team for the current and next school year. These positions offer a rewarding opportunity to work with elementary students in PreK through 3rd grades, providing specialized instruction and support to meet their diverse learning needs.

As a Special Education Teacher in our program, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to a small group of students, with a focus on individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals, including another teacher and paraprofessionals, to implement a prehensive program that addresses the academic, social, and emotional needs of students, some of whom are on the Autism Spectrum.

Qualifications:
- Louisiana Teaching License with MILD/MOD Certification REQUIRED
- Experience working with students with disabilities, including those on the Autism Spectrum, preferred
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Hours: 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Prescheduled planning period
