Program Analyst - Open to Nationwide Applicants

Salary range: $65,000.00 - $75,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

As a Program Analyst, you will lead, plan, execute, and help ensure successful program delivery according to the program requirements, objectives, timelines, and budget. This includes collaborating, engaging, and coordinating efforts in support of program-approved projects, and communicating with internal colleagues, the client, and SGS/ MCA management as necessary. In your role, you will analyze Program key performance indicators to help identify opportunities for improving the delivery of services and reducing costs.

Program Analyst Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Managing Director/SGS and the Program Team on deliverables and outcomes, and coordinate the budget, cost, and recommendations for improving team performance.
  • Help define and manage processes required to identify and verify the scope, requirements, and components of the Program to help ensure clear Program requirements are met
  • Maintain and develop relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the community to reinforce a commitment to world-class client service.
  • Collaborate with Program leadership to ensure that the scope of all Program projects aligns with client and SGS/ MCA expectations:
  • Be prepared to lead program-specific projects that will improve the delivery of services and/or reduce administrative costs.
  • Support other Project Managers in the establishment of detailed project timelines and work plans which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully support the program.
  • Provide input into the communication schedule to update internal and external stakeholders and appropriate project members on the current status of the project.
  • Communicate the Program’s goals and represent the client's interests to the MCA/SGS project teams.
  • Represent the interests of the Managing Director/SGS from Project Kick-Off to Project Delivery.
  • Provide status updates to the Managing Director/SGS regarding all Program related projects.
  • Review, analyze, prepare, and report on Program performance to the Managing Director/SGS.
  • As directed perform a thorough and detailed analysis of client performance trends, and present findings and recommendations to the Managing Director/SGS and Operations leadership.
  • Routinely review, analyze, and report on aberrant key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist Operations leadership in the development of corrective action plans.
  • Develop analytical tools to help identify issues and their root causes before they impact Program performance.
  • Work with Business Unit Leaders, Client Services, Project and Product Management, and IT team members in the development and deployment of solutions.
  • Identify obstacles to successful deployment of solutions and present recommendations for their resolution.
  • Provide administrative support to the Program to include:
  • Develop and distribute internal reports and updates to the Program Team as necessary.
  • Help Program leadership develop key presentations, reports, and other deliverables as required by the Program and the Managing Director/SGS.
  • Review all Operations deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field
  • 1-3 years of project management, health care, federal government contracts, or other relevant client services experience.
  • 1-3 years experience as an analyst.
  • Experience in developing and deploying client-focused solutions based on client needs and objective data analysis.
  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis of complicated problems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple efforts at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal)
  • Must be proficient to expert in the daily use of:
  • Microsoft Office – Especially PowerPoint
  • Smartsheets or MS Project Familiarity
  • MS Project Familiarity
  • Atlassian (Confluence, JIRA) preferred
  • Power BI (User Level) or a similar SQL tool preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including preliminary credit and background check
  • United States Citizenship
