General Purpose and Scope

Your main responsibility will be overseeing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accurate handling of invoices, approvals, and timely payments. You'll also contribute to other important accounting tasks. We're seeking someone who excels at organization, self-motivation, effective communication, and managing projects. In this role, you'll significantly impact our payments operations, helping us empower individuals and communities digitally, fostering prosperity in an interconnected world.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

• Accounts Payable Process
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, and timely payment processing.
• Cultivate positive vendor relationships and oversee vendor invoice approval workflow adhering to company policies.
• Perform regular mail runs and efficiently manage the processing of manual checks as required.
• Vendor Reconciliation and Issue Resolution
• Conduct accurate vendor account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Promptly address discrepancies or payment-related concerns.
• Monthly Journal Entries
• Prepare accurate monthly accrual and prepaid entries for precise financial reporting.
• Collaboration and Communication
• Effectively communicate payment statuses and address inquiries with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist auditors (internal and external) by providing information and participating in audit processes.
• P&L Analysis
• Contribute to the preparation of Profit and Loss (P&L) variance analyses for management review.

Required Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• College degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills for effective task management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience (at least 1 year) in Accounts Payable or relevant financial role.
• Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.
• Experience with financial software, including NetSuite.
• Knowledge of SharePoint for document management purposes
