Sr. Team Leader (Retail Supervisor) - homecenter/lumberyard - Full-time

The Sr Team Leader works in a retail supervisor role. Main area of service will be the paint and outdoor living area. Position will also help in all other areas of the retail store to include plumbing, lumber and building materials, appliances, flooring and kitchens.

Some duties include:

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer service friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
• Relays product line discrepancies such as supply, quality, or new items that we need to stock from the salespeople to the Purchasing Coordinators.
• Trains and supervises designated department Team Members.
• Communicates with Team Members about duties to be performed, scheduling, products, customers, and other team members.
• Deals with customer complaints.
• Authorized to make any decision involving customer service or customer service complaints of up to $500 in company loss.
• Reports company loss to the Division/Associate Division Manager.
• Ensures that there is product on the floor to be sold to customers.
• Monitors each department to ensure that assigned duties are being performed.
• Assists each department with customer service or product knowledge concerns.
• Plans the work schedule for each department under supervision.
• Opens and closes the store at least one night a week and on weekends to maintain contact with the store and customers on a first-hand basis.
• Participates in MOD (Manager on Duty) program as assigned by Management.
• Records plus/minus information for each Team Member in designated department.
• Assists with the review process.
• Covers any department as needed.
• Monitors all departments on weekends and evenings.

The store is open Monday through Saturday. Every other Saturday is required. No Sundays!

Wage

Starting wage is $18.00/hour or depending on experience.
