Overview

We have a part-time to full-time 1.0FTE (64 - 80 hours every 2 weeks) position for a Registered or Registry eligible Radiologic Technologist.

This position is primarily night shift, with an occasional rotation to a day or evening shift as needed and every third weekend with Saturday or Sunday surgery call.

Bonus:

$5,000 at hire, $5,000 on anniversary date to max of $15,000 total.

Responsibilities

All personnel in this position are responsible for performing excellent quality diagnostic radiography and CT imaging exams under the direction of a radiologist or referring provider, and taking call for weekend procedures. Certain individuals will also be accountable for delegated areas of authority, maintaining quality assurance and quality control records, training new imaging department personnel or radiologic technology students or serving on specific hospital committees as requested.

Additional education/certification may be required for specific radiographic modalities such as mammography.



Qualifications

Education and degree required from an accredited radiology program. License/Certification: ARRT in radiography, or obtains certification within 9 months of hire. Experience with patient care. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience and competency in radiographic diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to general radiographic exams including and special procedures, surgical (C-Arm) exams, portable exams, trauma exams and CT preferred but not required. Certified in BLS or will be certified within 3 months of hire.
