Job Overview:

 

The Bottler Activation Manager (BAM) serves as front-line support for KDP’s (CASO) FSOP Coca-Cola Affiliated Sales team, as communicator and facilitator around the strategic operating plans. The role has direct responsibilities to provide collaborative insights from analytics and systematic support. The role will lead workstream for customized commercial plans, while building upon operating routines, and the workflow process that is embedded internally into the bottler’s commercial team’s operating process.

 

The role will have cross functional alignment to internal and external business partners to leverage network/resources to develop the “best in class” approaches, transfer of knowledge, while supporting the joint business plans that align volume, revenue, and profit metrics for both KDP TMs and its CASO bottling partners. This role will be responsible for driving the commercial platforms that align the joint business operating plan within key stake holders on timely routine, while supporting key learnings and decisions of the FSOP CASO field team.  

 

This position based at our HQ in Frisco, TX and will have  hybrid schedule (3 days in the office and 2 work from home)

 

Reporting to the National Director of FSOP, the BAM will predominantly represent the KDP brands and where aligned may include Dr Pepper and other KDP brands that are licensed within the Coca-Cola Bottlers distribution areas in the assigned territory.

 

Accountabilities

  • Strong analytic capabilities to support a systematic structure and High-Performance Team culture; Ability to lead or influence the collaborative approach to aligned platforms to serve the business operating plans.
  • Provide consistent channel/brand specific selling materials to aid local market selling efforts
  • Support and influence bottler FSOP category management and merchandising standards
  • Customize brand marketing/operating plans into the commercial sales and communication processes for the bottlers, aligned to Big Bets, Innovation, Brand and Package opportunities, OBM development, Community Connection and Brand Development.
  • Provide tools to communicate national and local FSOP programs with local teams
  • Support the KDP/Bottler plans by developing relevant local tools that will help enhance the overarching plan and drive incremental volume, revenue, share and awareness of KDP brands with the bottlers.
  • Manage the creative process from end-to-end: ideation, program development, stakeholder approvals, program communications, sell sheets, order forms, order tracking and ROI analysis.
  • Support the annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) process for key bottlers partners and implement JBP disciplines that build upon sustainability.
  • Comprehensive knowledge to support PRGM, budget planning, and operating responsibilities with the National Director to support local promotions and tool development.
  • Act as a liaison between CASO FSOP and FSS marketing and brand teams
  • Strong capabilities and disciplines within Power Point, Excel, Word, and syndicated data resources.
  • Manage budgets and invoices associated with programs and promotions.

 

Communication 

  • Develop business relationships with Bottlers Sales Leadership and Commercial teams to identify opportunities and promote “Best in Class” execution in the market.
  • Identify process, tools, and/or technologies to improve efficiencies and align resources to deploy those solutions as quickly as possible.
  • Monitor performance, inspect what we expect and ensure the team is behaving within expectations.
  • Improve communication commercially working with cross-functional teams to eliminate redundancies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field  
  • 5 years of CPG sales, Marketing/Insights, or sales support experience
