Job Overview The Physical therapist performs evaluations on patients for Physical Therapy needs and develops a plan care for treatment. Administers treatment(s) and test(s) as prescribed by the physician. Conducts educational talks (in service) on benefits of Physical Therapy to patients, families, other disciplines (hospital staff), and to the community. Non-patient related duties include, but are not limited to assisting in clerical duties of the department, posting charges, and housekeeping duties within the Rehabilitation Department. Education/Requirements:

• Must be a Graduate or have a certificate/diploma from and APTA approved school of Physical Therapy or a school approved by the World Congress of Physical Therapy
• Must acquire a current temporary license or pass the State Licensure examination
• Minimum of three years' experience preferred.
• Acute care experience
• BLS
