Summary

Reporting to the Nursing Director, this position utilizes the nursing process and organizational/leadership skills to coordinate services of staff to patients during the designated shift. Assures patient care is appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients served. Assesses staff need for the unit, collaborates with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to ensure patient's needs are met.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Minimum Experience/Skills:
One (1) year adult inpatient telemetry unit experience in an acute care setting required within the last two (2) years.

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:
Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment:
Current California RN license;
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association; Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association;
OPTIONAL: CPI certification Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training.

Pay Range: $65.32 - $104.52
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.
