DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As part of this role, your main tasks will involve typing, managing incoming and outgoing mail, handling phone calls and communicating directly with clients, inputting data into computer systems, and performing various administrative and clerical duties to support the overall functioning of the organization. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and interact with other members of the staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination within the team.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Torrance, Pennsylvania.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirement:
  • This position requires keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy.
