This position performs various tasks related to maintenance, repair, housekeeping, grounds keeping, and other work for the facilities, lands, and infrastructure of the Weiser Forest District. It also includes assisting with the wildfire suppression and prevention program. The position can involve working independently or assisting skilled workers with routine tasks and covers a range of responsibilities related to the upkeep, operation, and protection of facilities, roads, trails, lands, and other infrastructure within the Weiser Forest District.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from approximately March through November at which the employee is placed on leave without pay.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel may be required for emergencies and/or training.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
