Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Virginia licensed CRNA available for full-time locum tenens coverage beginning in ASAP 2024.

Opportunity Specifics:

• Site - Hospital
• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment length: Ongoing
• M-F
• Hours: (7:00am – 3:00pm) or 4 10s
• Shifts: 8s, 10s, or 12s
  Cases: All except Hearts and Heads
  Practice: Supervised
• EMR - EPIC
• Must be VA licensed and clean file/no flags

Job Description:

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring patient’s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
• Experience/proficiency in: Epidurals, Spinals & Blocks

Candidate Requirements:

• Active VA State License
• Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Clear personal & professional background
