Position Summary: Assist Legal Department in efforts as assigned by Director of Legal/Managing Attorney and Supervisor.


Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain IFS inventory including working various in for suit queues (610/612) & maintaining assignment reports/requests.
  • Downloading legal Authorizations from Client Access Web.
  • Printing and mailing assignments from process legal letters.
  • Generate RCA's (Return check assignments).
  • Working weekly OFA (out for assignment) lists.
  • Generate NE suits for attorney review in accordance with suit requirements and work instructions.
  • Oversee NE litigation process:
  • Docket and send cases out for service.
  • Track cases to resolution of Judgment, stipulation, satisfactions, and/or dismissals accordingly.
  • Draft and e-file various motions as needed.
  • Track and meet all case deadlines.
  • Work on incoming faxes and maintain legal email inbox.
  • Verify mailing address, postmark, deliver to Post Office one day a week.
  • Follow FDCPA, ACA, FTC, and State compliance guidelines as it relates to the collection process in general and the litigation process specifically, continue ongoing education.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned periodically by management.

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; Secondary education is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of working experience in a professional office environment
