Penmac Staffing is currently seeking to fill an opening for an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday. This position is for a forklift operator- floater, located in Fort Smith, AR,. The ideal candidates should have a stable work history that demonstrates reliability, or, in lieu of work history, consider vocational or technical high school and college courses and military service.
Requirements of the Forklift Operator
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. throughout duration of shift
HS Diploma/GED
Ability to use computers to look up parts and workorders
Good Attendance and punctuality are a must
Willing to submit to a Background check and drug test
Must be flexible with hours as they will change
At least 1 year of forklift experience in an industrial setting, preferably at one location

Starting pay: $18.00/hour

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:
3rd shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.) Sunday–Thursday, with ability to work OT as required
Place safety in the workplace above all else, and follow safety guidelines alone when reporting safety issues.
Communicate with other operators or supervisors to discuss any part or equipment defects. Identify and order appropriate supplies, parts, and tools as needed.
It requires basic computer skills and the ability to use or learn the Shop Floor Display System.
