Clinical Nurse - RN Cardiothoracic Operating Room (Day Shift)

The Cardiothoracic Operating Room at Christian Hospital is searching for a full-time position for RN for CVOR for inpatient and outpatient to assist Providers with lung and open heart procedures.  See additional information below for your reference.

• Days shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)
• BLS Required
• Call Duty Rotation Required- Week and Weekends (45 minutes)
• 8 - 12 Month orientation and training (Depending on yrs. of exp.)
• 1-2 yrs. of OR RN exp. needed

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

The Surgical Services Department performs emergency, trauma, elective, in-patient, out-patient, and ambulatory/same day surgery. ASD also does pre-and post-procedure assessment and recovery of special procedures patients, and pre-procedure assessment of cardiac cath lab patients. Specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, GU, GYN, thoracic, ophthalmic, vascular, plastic, neuro, dental, ENT, endoscopic, cardiovascular, and podiatry.

Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
