Acro Service Corp. is seeking a SENIOR STAFFING EXECUTIVE to lead its AcroBlue Division. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the ideal candidates will have experience in business development, business operations, and recruitment efforts in light industrial and manufacturing staffing and recruiting.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Staffing Executive will lead efforts to sell and manage solutions and services provided by Acro’s specialized staffing division, Acro Blue, focused primarily on providing light industrial (LID) workers to new and existing clients to meet the growth goals of the company. The types of LID workers provided include production, manufacturing, warehousing, assembly, logistics, packaging, and other similar blue-collar workers. Acro Blue’s clients and prospective clients include high-volume users of LID workers that are serviced: (a) primarily by utilizing Acro Blue’s innovative vendor-on-premises model, a unique combination of onsite resources, services and Acro’s cloud-based fulfillment technology; and/or (b) from an existing or new Acro Blue branch proximate to the client’s site, and/or (c) from a remote Acro Blue office if permitted by the client. This executive level position, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, will be responsible for growing Acro Blue’s portfolio of new high-volume LID clients anywhere in the U.S. or Canada and expanding business with existing clients, as well as providing 100% of the operational support of all services being provided to Acro Blue clients and assuring all service level agreements are met or exceeded. Responsibilities include being part of the proposal response team, leading client presentations and all follow up until a contract is awarded. The Senior Staffing Executive will possess exceptional oral and written communication skills and strategic thinking to raise the level of customer and consultant satisfaction with Acro.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Increase Acro’s profitability by acquiring new high-volume clients that meet the company’s profile of target prospects and by expanding business with existing clients.
  • Thoroughly understand the value propositions offered by Acro Blue’s unique vendor-on-premises model and ensure all business developers understand it in detail and are comfortable pitching it.
  • Drive teams to meet or exceed Acro’s financial goals year over year with a focus on strategic growth across every client and program.
  • Responsible for overseeing all operations and business development efforts across Acro’s staffing account management teams.
  • Responsible for managing, mentoring, and coaching Acro Blue’s incumbent Branch Managers, Onsite Managers and Operations teams as it relates to sourcing, recruiting, contingent worker onboarding and employee relations.
  • Grow existing client base through an aggressive sales approach that includes expanding relationships throughout North America and Canada.
  • Responsible for creating and managing executive level relationships across all Acro Blue clients, including with an MSP, if any, involved at such clients.

• Work with peers across Acro (Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents) in the creation of marketing collateral and sales campaigns to drive an increase in the number of prospective clients.

• Have a solid understanding of pricing models utilized in the solutions and services that Acro provides its customers.

  • Maintain a consultative and proactive sales approach that leverages new and existing relationships.
  • Work with operations, account managers, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations teams to ensure they have the appropriate support, tools and structure that is needed for success.
  • Assist with the development and execution of sourcing and recruiting plans across the division to ensure clients’ contingent labor needs are met.
  • Set division direction, goals, and forecasts to ensure Acro meets and exceeds financial targets.
  • Refine division operational procedures and ensure they are followed through the division.
  • Responsible for ensuring all employees comply with all safety rules established, are familiar with the safety policies and procedures of both Acro and its clients and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in the staffing industry that includes, seven (or more) years’ experience in selling onsite or master vendor services to high volume light industrial clients (over 100 temporary employees), with at least the last three years in managing a portfolio of high-volume light industrial clients utilizing onsite (or master vendor) and near site (branch) fulfillment services model.

Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate with onshore and offshore support resources, which includes listening and understanding, as well as conveying ideas and opinions in writing.
  • Able to handle conflict well.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to provide guidance to contract employees and clients regarding employment, staffing, project management decisions.
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office, VMS technology and Applicant Tracking Systems at a minimum.
  • Must have a solid understanding of white and blue-collar job categories.
  • Must have experience with high volume staffing with a focus on contact center, light industrial, commercial and/or heavy industrial skill sets.
  • Must have strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products with the ability to produce reports, budget and forecast.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines, allowing time for unexpected emergencies and frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to make quick and accurate decisions, within scope of responsibility, and act upon them accordingly.
  • Ability to maintain on-going departmental documentation as related to employee performance and other staffing issues.

  • MBA

Experience

  • At least 15 years’ progressive experience in the staffing industry that includes over 10 years’ experience in selling onsite or master vendor services to high volume light industrial clients (over 100 temporary employees), with at least the last three years in managing a portfolio of high-volume light industrial clients utilizing onsite (or master vendor) and near site (branch) fulfillment services model.
  • Prior experience as a Senior Vice President, Vice President, Staffing Executive or similar roles.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequently sits, drives, walks, and stands.
  • May be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (box of copier paper)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment.
  • 30% - 40% travel is expected.
  • The noise level in the work area is usually low.
