Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Replaces electrical motors
• Works safely with hand tools
• Tests and repairs valves, regulators, gas units etc.
• Interprets prints, sketches, diagrams, etc. and plans procedures
• Troubleshoot machine errors – make electrical/hydraulic/motor/switch repairs
• Preventative maintenance
• Facility maintenance
• Maintenance projects
• Operates fork truck and scissor lift

Physical Requirements:

• Must pass the color blindness test
• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces

Top candidates will also have:

• 3 years previous mechanical/manufacturing maintenance experience
• 3 years Electrical maintenance experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-starter and self-motivated individual who works well individually in a team environment

Additional Information:

• This position is available on 1st shift
• No relocation reimbursement is offered
• This position is located in Dyer, IN
• The pay for this position starts at $33-36/hr
• Full time with full benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $33.00 to $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
