Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed plastic surgery practice as an Injectables Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our team of board-certified plastic surgeons and provide exceptional care to our patients seeking cosmetic enhancements through injectable treatments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their aesthetic goals, medical history, and suitability for injectable treatments.
  2. Administer injectable treatments, including but not limited to neurotoxins (e.g., Botox, Dysport) and dermal fillers (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane), following established protocols and best practices.
  3. Perform facial assessments to determine appropriate injection sites and customize treatment plans to meet each patient's unique needs.
  4. Provide pre- and post-procedure care instructions to patients, including information on potential side effects, recovery expectations, and follow-up appointments.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all procedures, treatments, and patient outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
  6. Collaborate closely with plastic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  7. Stay informed about the latest developments and advancements in injectable treatments, attending relevant training sessions and conferences as needed.
  8. Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and ethical conduct in all aspects of practice.
  9. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the practice by providing exceptional patient care and fostering positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all aspects of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner, with specialization in plastic surgery or a related field preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a surgical setting, preferably in plastic surgery.
  • Strong surgical skills, including the ability to close up surgical incisions with precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patient safety.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
