The Staff Accountant will be responsible for over seeing all financial reporting for assigned hotel properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting of financial data. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage the month-end close process and procedures
• Preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
• Prepare local and state tax returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash Management
• Collaborate with property managers and operational teams, providing insight and recommendations as needed

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Have a strong financial background and have sound administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work product
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with MS Office (excel, word, outlook).
