Remote Work Opportunity!
La Strada Land Services is seeking a seasoned Right of Way Agent to facilitate the negotiation and acquisition of right of way parcels on behalf of our clients. THIS IS A WORK FROM HOME OPPORTUNITY! This role will be a full-time position with compensation commensurate with the individuals skills and years of experience. The ideal candidate will have 3 years active experience working on right-of-way projects for TxDOT while working for a ROWAPS contractor. A current real-estate sales or brokers license in the State of Texas is required.
The Right of Way Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are properly documented, completed on time and within budget, and in a smooth and efficient manner and will have primary responsibilities for all administrative tasks, other than accounting. The Right of Way Agent will work with various members of project teams, subcontractors and clients, and must have outstanding customer services skills, organization and communication.
Right of Way Agent Duties:
- Manage parcel acquisition, eminent domain and condemnation proceedings
- Schedule weekly team meetings and provide written agenda and minutes
- analyze preliminary title commitment reports and secure title updates
- review and analyze property appraisals for residential and commercial property
- communicate with property owners, send written offers and negotiate agreed settlement offer
- facilitate the signature of deeds and the closing of right of way parcel
- Secure Possession and Use Agreements
- Create, file and maintain all documentation as may be required by La Strada clients
- Coordinate with subcontractors, documentation and contracts
- Utilize spreadsheets to track budgets, status reports, and other project information
- Maintain and monitor calendars for tracking project milestones and deadlines
- Perform other related duties as assigne
- Ability to take initiative, reason logically and be creative in developing and introducing new ideas
- Must be highly organized, communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work under pressure and organize work-flow priorities to complete work within an established schedule
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer software programs, including Microsoft products
- Ability to provide responsive, high-quality service to clients and other team members in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner
- Must be able to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Position Requirements:
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience as Project Manager and right-of-way acquisition agent for TxDOT
- A current real estate sales or brokers license in the State of Texas
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, engineering, planning, public administration, real estate, or a related field is preferred
