Parts Associate

PowerPro Equipment is an Outdoor Power Equipment Dealership with 10 locations, representing fantastic equipment - Exmark, Hustler Turf, Scag, Spartan Mowers, Toro, Intimidator, Mahindra, Branson, Ventrac, Stihl and more!

We are looking for a detail-oriented Parts Associate to be responsible for assisting with parts sourcing, shipping and receiving and inventory control. The Ideal candidate will promote high level customer service for both our internal and external customers. Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance with replacement parts lookup
• Welcome walk-in customers to the store and answer their questions
• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• “Go the extra mile” to drive fantastic Customer Service
• Maintain in-stock parts
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Cross sell products
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Comply with inventory control procedures, shipping and receiving
• Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Parts Sales associate, or similar role
• Outdoor Power Equipment experience preferred
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Basic Math skills
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• High school diploma or GED required; Business Admin or related field of study preferred

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical: 1 year (Preferred)
• Outdoor Power Equipment: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• York, PA 17408: Relocate before starting work (Required)
