Welder

Company north of Independence, LA looking for experienced Welders and Welder/Fitters!

Pay: $22 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks under the direction of supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, adhering to safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Conduct daily tool inspections and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stand for long periods, lift tools and materials up to 50lbs, and withstand bending, crouching, or squatting as necessary.
• Work in various weather conditions as required.
• Complete structural fabrication tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Participate in welding tests as part of the hiring process.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• 3-5 years of welding experience, including flux core welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics.
• Experience in structural fabrication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work day shift (Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM) or night shift (Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM).
