We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing procedures and insurance processes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing to the financial health of our organization.


This is a full-time position that offers flexible scheduling within a 40-hour workweek. Scheduled work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.


Essential job duties include:

  • Review and process medical billing claims accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies
  • Investigate and appeal denied claims as necessary
  • Communicate with insurance companies and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines


The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes
  • Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
