THE ROLE:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Food Service Attendant to join our team at the hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional food service to patients, visitors, and staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to patients, visitors, and staff members
- Ensure that food is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff members
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as neededExperience working with therapeutic diets preferred.
- Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
- Food Handler's Certificate from San Bernardino County Public Health Department required
- ServSafe Certificate Required
- Flu vaccination required
