Confidential Search; Emergency Room Director

This search has been given to me by a trusted client in which I have placed several executives. Pardon the vague nature, but we will be excluding some metrics to lessen the possibility of discovery. We respect the confidential nature of the search, for both the client and candidate side.

This Director of Emergency Services will have oversight of an emergency room department that has 40+ beds and sees volumes of 150-170 patients a day. This person will have 120 FTEs and report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.

The compensation range for this position is $128,000-$168,000 as an annual base salary, with a management incentive bonus and relocation assistance.

Requirements:

• BSN, RN required, Masters strongly preferred.
• 8 years’ experience in emergency services in an inpatient, acute care hospital setting, and at least 4 years of clinical leadership within this specialization required.
• Previous Director level experience strongly preferred.
