Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

Our GTM Enablement team includes mission critical systems—including both Salesforce & our In-House Enterprise Point of Sale and Client Enablement/Servicing (RAPID) platforms. We are seeking 2 Product Owners to lead the Salesforce.com platform through feature identification, business requirement gathering, development and launch of various salesforce effectiveness feature enhancements and releases. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, have experience working in a matrixed environment with technical development teams, effective leadership qualities and an ability to understand business processes, strong project management and agile skills, experience managing partners and vendors, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and exceeding adoption targets.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, with a 360-degree perspective, the build and enhancement of the Salesforce platform to ensure our internal stakeholders maximize their business processes and increase overall salesforce effectiveness, while aligning with overall Salesforce strategies.

  • Oversight, leadership and project management of the wing-to-wing product development cycle including build, test, launch and adoption for Salesforce &/or RAPID platforms.

  • Partner with key stakeholders such as IT, Sales, Product, Credit and Compliance to identify and prioritize future features to deliver to market.

  • Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements for prioritized features, and translate those requirements into feature stories, leading feature “definition of ready” (DOR) completion.

  • Work with internal and external partners as needed to create screen prototypes / wireframes, gather feedback and adjust to optimize performance.

  • Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for various enablement releases.

  • Support and aid in any Legal/Compliance items related to the enablement platforms.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree; high school diploma/GED and 7+ years of Project Management experience.

  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably IT Project Management.

  • 3+ years of experience leading software development projects.

  • Agile build experience.

  • Business Analyst mindset and technical acumen to bridge business needs and technical solutions.

  • Experience with Salesforce standard objects, sales processes, validations, flows and processes, reports and dashboards, permissions, roles, and general Salesforce configuration.

  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills within all levels of the organization. Effectively communicate and influence all leadership levels of Synchrony and its partners.

  • Strategic thinker with ability to develop and implement actionable plans to drive business results.

  • Strong project management experience with a record of delivering on time and across functions.

  • Strong digital proficiency, including launching new products and capabilities and understanding of mobile devices and applications.

Grade/Level: 11

                                                                                      

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

                                 

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
