Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Supervisor RN
Schedule: Monday to Friday day shift, with occasional Saturdays
Clinical Supervisor RN Position Overview:
The Clinical Supervisor RN is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of our MA staff, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of patient care. This role requires a combination of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.
Clinical Supervisor RN Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Supervision: Provide administrative and clinical supervision to our MA team, including hiring, training, and counseling staff members. Act as a primary point of communication for MAs, fostering open dialogue and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
2. Quality Improvement: Actively participate in our organization's Process Quality Improvement programs to monitor and enhance the quality of services provided in the clinic. Collaborate with the Medical Provider Team to ensure clinically sound interventions are consistently applied by MAs, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
3. Training and Development: Support the professional development of MA team members by allocating resources for internal training and external continuing education opportunities. Assist MAs in maintaining and improving their clinical skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 12 months of leadership/supervisory experience
- Minimum 12 months of clinical experience in a clinic setting
