PT Order Selector *No Weekends*

Pet Food Experts is the leading distributor of pet food and supplies to independent retailers in the US. We are looking for full time Order Selectors to join our Distribution Center in Cumberland, RI!

Compensation: $19.50 per hour

Part time schedule: Flexible, 3-4 working days: 2pm start time

POSITION SUMMARY

The Order Selector accurately fulfills customer orders by selecting, moving and loading dry goods products from warehousing racks and storage areas into boxes both manually and using material handling equipment.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments to assemble shipping boxes for orders, select product and transport filled orders to and from staging areas using material handling equipment including push cart and pallet jack, if needed
• Complete packaging and processing order at staging area using packing materials
• Complete appropriate paperwork

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck), preferred
• High degree of skill and dexterity in operation and safe control of warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
• Experience and certification for an electric pallet jack, a plus
• Experience with Infor WMS, a plus
